Shipping Wonders of the World, 2 vols

£27.99

Product description

This work originally appeared as 55 weekly instalments from 30th January 1936 through to 23rd February 1937. A vast range of subjects was covered. The complete work has been bound in two hardback volumes. In the Foreword the Editor writes that it is a book about the manifold wonders associated with the sea. As a contribution to the literature of the sea it is, in more ways than one, unique, for it sets out to be the most comprehensive work on the subject yet published. There are many black and white illustrations throughout both works.
Published 1936-1937
Hardback. The boards are slightly bumped and the binding slightly torn. The pages are also slightly foxed, but otherwise both books are in good condition given their age.
