Publisher: George G. Harrap & Co, London, Bombay, Sidney, 1928, 1st edition thus. Hardback with dustjacket, 224 pages. Cover, in maroon clot boards with gilt titling to spine, is in good, clean condition for its age with just a few minor shelfwear related marks. Internally the book is in good, clean and tight condition with no inscriptions, tears, creases or significant marks. A few light foxing spots here and there and on page block edges. 2 inch waterstain on rear endpaper. The very rare dustjacket is in generally decent condition commensurate with age with some fading to spine, some rubbing to edges, some chipping / small tears to spine extremities and a little shelfwear to top and bottom edges. A selection of thrilling and unusual short stories from the author of the famously chilling story 'The Monkeys Paw'.
