Complete set of 6 volumes, each in two sections, published as a special subscription only edition in 1902. Hard back book with original olive green boards with decorative gilding, illustrated with many black and white and some coloured photographs and coloured fold out maps. 10 sections in very good condition with slight bumping to corners and yellowing of pages. Volume 1, section 2 has damage to front board caused by damp, with a little rippling of pages, but contents are not affected. Volume 2, section 2 is again affected by damp damage to front cover and first few blank pages. The binding is loose and torn, but the book is still bound from the title page to the end and the contents are not affected.
