Beige pictorial cloth binding with gilt lettering to front cover and spine, bevel-edged boards, all page edges gilt, illustrated endpapers.

Good condition for a book of this considerable age: moderate wear to spine with 1 x 3cm and 1 x 8cm closed tears to back-strip and loss from back-strip ends, bumping to hardcover corners exposing board material; cracking to front endpapers and between rear free endpaper and last page, light cracking between pages 64 and 65 with 1.5cm closed tear and creasing to page 65/66 bottom edge, page 167/168 starting to detach with 8cm closed tear to top edge, all pages remain intact, 1.5cm closed tear to front free endpaper bottom edge, 1cm closed tear and creasing to title page bottom edge, crease to half-title page bottom corner and to top corner of pages 27/28, 157/158, 243/244 and 275/276, 1.2cm closed tear to page 75/76 bottom edge, 2cm x 4cm internal closed tear to page 93/94, open surface tears to page 94 with removed material obscuring some text on facing page (page 95 - photographed), 0.6cm closed internal tear to page 95/96 bottom margin, 0.7cm closed tear to page 99/100 bottom edge, 4cm closed tear to page 135/136 top edge, 2cm closed tear and crease to page 159/160 bottom edge, 1.5cm closed tear to page 177/178 bottom edge; inscriptions dated Christmas 1902 to reverse of front free endpaper and to reverse of frontispiece, light soiling to page edges, mainly to top edge, occasional soiling internally but text and illustrations remain predominantly clear throughout

Our warehouse is situated in Winton, Bournemouth and is an online operation. Whilst not open to the public, we are happy to accept donations of saleable books, CD's, DVD's, vinyl, clothing and homeware.

Our online operation is powered by a team of hard-working volunteers (we're always looking for more help), sorting, valuing and listing on our online shop and Amazon.

We also offer books by the yard / metre / foot for set dressing  films, TV, theme pubs, bars and art projects. We can supply all types of books, starting at £8 per metre. We can even theme to your needs by subject, hardback, paperback, colour or date. Obviously the more specific, the more lead time is required. We may be able to offer local delivery.
