The Book of The Home - Volume 1

£9.99

Product description

The Book of the Home was published by The Gresham Publishing Company in the early 1900s. This volume is part of a series dated 1909 and written under the editorial guidance of Mrs C. E. Humphry, one of the first female journalists in Britain.

It was published in 6 volumes, of which this is the first, and is bound in turquoise cloth, with embossed patterns in black and gilt. The book shows wear and a normal degree of tanning and foxing for its age, but is in very good condition, with clean pages and tight stitching. There are a mix of monochrome and full colour plates as well as monochrome illustrations throughout, all of which are in clear and bright. This volume concentrates on acquiring a property, the legal relationship between tenant and landlord, and furnishing your property.
