All three volumes. The books are from 1868 and are in a good condition. There is gilt on the front covers and on the parts of the spines. The spines have dirt that comes off if you touch them. The covers are in a good condition with some wear and tear to the front back and at the spine. Two of the books have front cover loose at the spine, however they are still attached. Possibly Half Crushed Morocco with marbled boards. the Spines have six compartments being separated by raised bands. There are some pencil inscriptions and marks on some pages. There is foxing to a few pages of each book with a few other blemishes. otherwise pages are in a good condition for you to enjoy with very minor fading to a few words.

Included inside is an essay on Chaucer's language and versification, and an introductory discourse, together with notes and a glossary. As well as a memoir and critical dissertation. The text has been edited by Charles Cowden Clarke.

Volume 1 has 233 pages, Volume 2 299 pages and Volume 3 341 pages.
