This book is a collection of six lectures on the Athanasian Creed by Henry Temple. It dates from roughly 1873 and is bound in green cloth boards with gild lettering and decorations on the spine and covers. All edges are painted red. Condition: the covers exhibit some mild marking and denting. The book's edges show some mild marking and denting as well. There is a bookseller's sticker on the rear paste-down, and a mark in pen on the front flyleaf. There are also some marks in pencil on the early pages of the book. There are some mild marks throughout the interior pages, but they are generally clean and bright. The binding is fairly strong.
