A complete set of books for children published by Waverley Book Company. They are undated, but believed to be from about 1910.
All have a red cloth-covered hardback which is a little worn but sound. The bindings are in good condition unless otherwise specfied below. There is some foxing of the pages but they are clean and unmarked. Each book is 14 x 19.8 x 3.5 cm approx.
Printed in the USA by the Riverside Press.
Volume I - Folk Stories and Fables. The binding is a little loose between the frontispiece and title page and at the back page. There is name in pencil on the title page. There is a folded, and somewhat creased, tipped in facsimile of a Longfellow poem between pages xxiv and xxv. 401 pages.
Volume II - Myths from Many Lands. The binding is loose after the first endpaper 335 pages.
Volume III - Stories from the Classics. 329 pages.
Volume IV - Stories of Legendary Heroes. 371 pages
Volume V - Stories from Seven Old Favourites. The binding is a little loose at the back cover. 442 pages.
Volume VI - Old Fashioned Stories and Poems. 437 pages.
Volume VII - The Out-of-Door Book. Binding loose at back cover. 517 pages.
