Undated, but looks to be either late nineteenth century or early twentieth century, published by William P. Nimmo as part of the Nimmo's Standard Library. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, from the text of Johnson, Steevens and Reed, with a biographical sketch by Mary Cowden Clarke.
Good condition hardback, commensurate to age, bound in dark green textured buckram, blind stamped on the covers, with gilt titles and decoration to the spine. Some rubbing and shelf-wear. The illustrated title page is covered by a sheet of tissue, both title page and frontispiece bear black-and-white illustrations of Shakespeare. Internally, there is some cracking to the hinges, however, the binding remains strong. The endpapers, title pages and flyleaves are all foxed and yellowed. Top edge gilt.
