Includes Turner; Stanfield; Wilkie; Allom; Roberts; Lawrence; Opie; Pickersgill; Parris; Maclise;Chalons;Hayter; Stephanoff. Engravings are of people and places in Britain and abroad accompanied by articles or poems relating to the subject, with contributors including L.E.L., Mary Howitt, Bernard Barton, T.Dale, and John Howden.
In good used condition, half bound in leather with marbled paper. Binding rubbed, marked and scraped, commensurate with age and use. Spine decorated with gold tooling and gold lettering, leather rubbed and worn and slight damage at head. Marbled end papers. Marking and foxing to pages.
