The Girl's Own Annual (1917) Vol. 37

£22.99

Product description

The Girl's Own Annual is an annual collection of stories that were published in a weekly magazine: 'The Girl's Own Paper and Woman's Magazine' in the early 20th century. The Girl's Own Paper was a British story paper catering to girls and young women, published from 1880 until 1956. It is then compiled and edited into annual collection. This particular volume is edited by Flora Klickmann.

Hardback book in good condition. Evidence of shelf ware with bumped corners and very slight minor tears on the full portrait cover. Pages within the book are clear with illustrations throughout. There are pages where foxing occurs on the side and within the text yet both text and illustrations are still very clear and readable. Spine-edge wear but still strong and no pages are falling out (complete pages). There is a masking tape on the first two pages to repair the pages onto the spine. Tissue paper is still intact inside the book. Owner's label is present on the second blank page.
