Cover, in light brown patterned silk cloth boards with gilt titling to spine and small gilt design to front, is in good, firm and bright condition commensurate with age with slight fading to spine, a little bumping to spine extremities, corners and along fore-edges and a few minor marks. Internally, the book is in good, firm and clean condition with tight binding, clear text pages and illustrations and no creases, tears or significant marks. There is a neat pen inscription on title page and some foxing to endpapers and first few and last few pages of the book. Light tanning to pages commensurate with age. Rough cut pages as common for limited edition books at the time with several still uncut.
