The Poetical Works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

£9.99

Product description

A one hundred and fifty year old book bringing all the best works by the prominent and prolific 19th century poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The incredibly talented Wordsworth became a professor while still in his teenage years, and even decades later enjoyed the privileged position of being the favourite poet of figures as renowned as Roosevelt and Edgar Allen Poe.

An initial page bears some writing from 1869, attesting to this book having been a gift between family members. In some ways this merely adds more charm to the book. Otherwise, the book is in decent condition considering its age, and while the occasional page is slightly damaged and the cover worn (especially at the spine) it remains a brilliant book at a brilliant price.
