This book is in reasonable condition considering its age. Some sections of the pages are falling out, and there is foxing around of the edges of some of the pages. The binding has started to fall away, and the illustrations and lettering on the cover and spine have mostly faded.
Published in 1868, this book features a collection of works written by John Bunyan. Presented prior to the works of Bunyan is a section focusing on the life of John Bunyan written by George Cheever, D.D., LL.D., as well as an introductory essay on 'The Pilgrim's Progress' by James Montgomery, Esq.

The book also features 100 wonderful wood engravings on the front and back covers, and inside features a series of drawings in chromo-lithography based upon the designs of T. Stothard, R.A.
