Volume 1 consisting of bound publications from issue 1, May 11th, 1867 to December 28th, 1867. There are some amazing coloured fold out prints, fascinating articles and adverts of the day. What makes this even better is the bookplate. The former owner was Thomas Evelyn Scott Ellis VIII Baron Howard de Walden!

The buckram covers has gilt titles and has wear. The fep is torn at the spine and much of the webbing is split. The right of the fep, title page and preface are loose. Covers are attached, just. Pages 151 - 154 are missing. The pages are tanned a little but are in good condition.
