Green cloth, gilt titles with 32 beautiful tipped-in colour plates, mounted on brown card with tissue guards. All edges gilt. Goble's most desired work. Spine is browned, and rear board sunned and discoloured unevenly. Bumping and wear to top and bottom of spine, with minor wear to corners and cover edges. Of the 32 Warwick Goble plates and tissue guards, two plates have light creases in bottom corner, whilst two tissue guards are creased and one is partially detached. Overall the illustrations are in bright, excellent condition. The first end paper is cracked, but the string bound spine is in solid condition throughout.
