The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins (1824-1889) was first published in 1860 and is considered to be one of the first mystery novels. In 2003 the observer ranked The woman in white as number 23 in their top 100 novels of all time in 2003.

In good condition. Some rubbing wear to the the edges of the cover. Although intact and sound, the binding feels a bit weak with a crack along the internal hinge of the title page. A couple of names are written on the front end-papers.
