Second Edition published in 1908 by Archibald Constable & Company. A large (A3 size) compiled and arranged by M Morison.

Consisting of a chronological parallel tables of events occurring in different countries from 400 -1870. Each double pages has six columns headed: England, Scotland, France Spain, Roman Empire (West) and Roman Empire (East). From 500 AD Roman Empire West is replaced by Italy. Then from about 800 two more columns are added; Germany and India. Then from about 1,000 AD furthermore columns still are added, including America and more European countries. At the back of the book further charts are included: Genealogical Tables, Ruling Monarchs, General Chart of Ancient and Modern History. Completed with an index

A fascinating quick reference guide to what was happening in any year during the 1200 year period.

Clearly a well read favourite the covers are very worn, stained and damaged, with the spine strip becoming detached. The internal pages, although yellowed are in sound and good condition
