Mid-19th century anti-slavery novel. Illustrated with colour plates. There is no publication date stated but bookplate details suggest that date of publication is 1924 or earlier.

Blue cloth binding with blind-stamped lettering and decoration to front cover and spine and gilt lettering to spine.

Good condition for a second-hand book: light wear to covers and spine, mainly to cover corners and spine ends, light soiling to covers and spine, very light markings and light bowing to covers; school presentation bookplate to front pastedown endpaper; light foxing/soiling to page edges and endpapers, very light partial tanning to page 59, page 209/210 top corner and pages 291-296 bottom corners creased, occasional soiling internally, otherwise generally clean internally with clear text and illustrations throughout.

Our warehouse is situated in Winton, Bournemouth and is an online operation. Whilst not open to the public, we are happy to accept donations of saleable books, CD's, DVD's, vinyl, clothing and homeware.

Our online operation is powered by a team of hard-working volunteers (we're always looking for more help), sorting, valuing and listing on our online shop and Amazon.

We also offer books by the yard / metre / foot for set dressing  films, TV, theme pubs, bars and art projects. We can supply all types of books, starting at £8 per metre. We can even theme to your needs by subject, hardback, paperback, colour or date. Obviously the more specific, the more lead time is required. We may be able to offer local delivery.
