Centenary Memorial of Royal Gunpowder Factory. Waltham Abbey W. Winters.1887.
Two Official Guides First and Second edition.
Five postcards unsent. See photo.

A collection of books and guides about Waltham Abbey complete with five postcards (four different) in black and white and one coloured illustration. The books included are: Waltham Abbey, History and Antiquities by John Maynard published in 1865, Waltham Abbey Official Guide, Waltham Abbey the Official Guide and Centenary Memorial of the Royal Gunpowder Factory, Waltham Abbey by W. Winters published in 1887.

These books are in fair condition with all pages and leafs present. The Waltham Abbey, History and Antiquities book is tanned with age and has wear to the corners and edges of the pages. There is also some light foxing. For both official guides to Waltham Abbey there is wear to the corners and spine while the pages inside are clean and undamaged. At the end of both of these books there is a fold out map of the area. The Centenary Memorial of the Royal Gunpowder Factory has some staining to the cover as well as wear to the corners and it's spine missing. It's binding is held to the cover with tape. The pages inside are clean and undamaged though they have become tanned with age. All but one of the post cards are blank with no writing on them, but some pencil notes on one .

These items are ideal for collectors or those wanting some fascinatingly old copies to learn what Waltham Abbey was like.
