Biography of Flying Pioneer and Winner of the Schneider Trophy. 22 illustrations on plates. Eight-page publisher catalogue at rear. There is no publication date stated but inscription suggests a publication date of no later than 1938.

Red cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine.

This book is in fair condition and is ex-library: light wear to covers and spine with light bumping to cover corners and spine ends exposing board material at corner tips, light slanting to spine; cracking to front and rear hinges, 8cm closed tear to inside bottom corner of front free endpaper with corner detached together with 6cm closed tear to inside bottom corner of preface page, 2cm closed tear to page 181/182 top edge, plates facing pages 64, 104 and 142 and pages 113/114, 127/128 and 143/144 starting to detach, cracking between pages 130 and 131, all pages and plates remain intact; light soiling to page edges, very light foxing to endpapers, preface and title pages, owner inscription dated June '38 to front pastedown endpaper, date-stamps and remains of date-stamp label to rear pastedown endpaper, bookmark shadow to pages 244 and 245, occasional foxing internally, light soiling to many pages, text and illustrations remain clear throughout.
