Publisher: Francis Griffiths, London, 1911, 1st edition. Hardback, 250 pages plus 6 pages of publishers list. 32 b&w full page illustrations. Ex libris Viscount Birkenhead. Full title is 'With Napoleon at Waterloo and other unpublished documents of the Waterloo and Peninsular campaigns, also papers on Waterloo by the late Edward Bruce Low M.A'. Cover, in red cloth boards with gilt titling to spine and impressed titling and portrait to front, is in sound and firm condition for its age with some inky marks to front, a little fading to spine and light bumping to spine extremities, some areas of fading to back and a couple of other light marks. Internally the book is in firm and clean condition for its age with no tears, inscriptions,creases or significant marks. Pages are rough cut as quite usual at the time. Some light foxing here and there especially on endpapers and page block edges are tanned. Bookplate of Viscount Birkenhead pasted on front endpaper and very small booksellers label also on front endpaper (Chaundy of High Street, Oxford)
