A New History of Photography

£20.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

1998 English language edition published by Konemann. Brown cloth board covers with dust jacket. Oversized book. The edges of the dust jacket are slightly frayed. The end papers and some inside pages are slightly undulating (ie do not lie completely flat) possibly as a result of damp. In other respects this book is in good condition. Lavish B&W, sepia and color photos.

The history and representation of photography meet here on three levels: (1) chapters - set the chronological & intellectual framework and provide historical & aesthetic analysis; (2) dossiers -provide a cross-section of the real corpus; (3) boxes - provide precise, scientific information & articulate historic moments, figures and technique.

No keen photographer should be without this fascinating book. NB Because of its weight, this book carries an additional charge for postage.
