Africa - Leni Riefenstahl

£49.99

Product description

From a quote on the back of the book's case from V Magazine, Los Angeles:
""Riefenstahl's photographs preserve a mythic vision of this Eden before the Fall, a romantic lost world, captured in images as powerfully seductive as the artist herself.""

This large volume contains 347 colour photographs taken in Africa by German Leni Riefenstahl. The book (containing writing in other languages besides English e.g. German and French) also contains an interview from 2002 between Leni Riefenstahl and Kevin Brownlow. The book also includes a list of all the photographs with captions explaining each of them, a bibliography of Leni Riefenstahl and a Filmography and Bibliography. The book also comes in a hard case (as can be seen in the second attached photo).

This book is in good condition, with most of the wear being present on the hard protective case - however the covers and spine of the book are slightly worn in places, as are a few of the edges of some pages.
