The Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate, Harrogate, UK, 2011. Soft cover. No Jacket. The book is in very good condition with few signs of shelf wear. There is a small damage on the back cover, but internally there is no damage to the text and it is clean and bright throughout.

A beautifully produced catalogue published to accompany an exhibition of the work of this Victorian artist (1836-1893) whose evocative paintings of moonlit suburban lanes, gas lit city streets and docksides were and are still much loved and collected. Includes eight essays on aspects of Grimshaw's work and times, and 9 plates by present-day photographer of moonlit scenes Liza Dracup. Wraps have very slight shelf wear to edges. Spine uncreased. internally unmarked, as new. xii, 180 pp; over 150 colour illus. Please note: this is a heavy book, shipping outside the UK may incur extra charge.
