This, volume 3, covers works by artists of the British School, mostly 18th. and 19th. century. Most are landscapes, mostly British, some Italian, mostly real named places, some fantasies. Surnames I to S. 98 images in all. This is a large format 34 x 26 cm. volume, so the images are of a good size.

Useful introduction, biographies of artists, some brief, others more extensive. Description and context of each picture. By C.Reginald Grundy and F.Gordon Roe.

The covers are worn and marked. The text areas are lightly browned. Printed on high quality paper. Some light crinkling and creasing. Some of the colours are slightly faded/darkened, but overall they are clear and fresh.
