184 pp, 147mm x 227mm, Hardback (gloss-art, colour-printed, covered boards) Cover is very clean and bright: some edgeware at bottom of cover; creasing in top left of back cover; surface slightly shelf-scuffed. Binding is tight but book is slightly cocked and there are some small stains on outer edges of the page block. Endpapers are very clean. Red marker ribbon is attached and intact. Pages are clean and bright, but be aware that there are pencil annotations throughout (these can be erased).
"Documentary Now!" gathers together a series of essays exploring how modern techniques in image manipulation (photomontage, retouching, digital media etc.) call into question the 'authenticity' of the documentary visual image. Includes 30 pages of colour and b/w plates at front of book.
