SIGNED BY THE ARTIST: This softcover book is in good condition overall. The front cover of the book has a small but notable tear on the top left corner. Other corners and edges are also worn, though significantly less. Inside, the pages of the book are in very good condition. There are some individual pages with small markings on them, but there are no issues which affect the artwork. As mentioned above, the book appears to be have been signed by Michael Brennand-Wood. We cannot however personally verify this signature, as the book is a donated item.
'Michael Brennand-Wood, visual artist, curator, lecturer, arts consultant. Since 1979 he has occupied a central position in the research, origination and advocacy of contemporary international art textiles. He has exhibited in major galleries world wide, including V&A Museum London, The National Museum of Modern Art Kyoto, Whitworth Art Gallery Manchester, and Crafts Council London. His work can be seen in private, public and corporate collections world wide. He won The Creative Concept Award in 1987 and the Fine Art Award in 1989 at the International Textile Competition in Kyoto, followed by the first RSA Art for Architecture Award in 1990.'
