Modern Living (Signed by the Artist)

£29.99

Product description

An extremely rare book, one of 1000 copies, signed by the artist, showcasing 23 drawings by Belgian artist Karin Hanssen, with additional text by Alain de Botton, Gregory Salzman, and Tjadine Stheeman.

Hanssen's drawings, based on photographs found in old magazines, present apparently mundane scenes in a textural drawing style, contrasting the blandness of the scenes depicted, with the unique handiwork of the artist.

Tightly bound with a cloth back strip over a paper cover. Features English and Flemish text. Well illustrated throughout, the outer cover does have a few grubby finger prints on the front and a brown mark near the outer edge.
