Reflections on Art

£11.99

Product description

A collection of twenty-six essays which brings together some of the finest contemporary contributions to art criticism and the philosophy of aesthetics. Works cover issues such as the nature of dramatic illusion, the problem of distance and specific art forms such as sculpture, music and dance. The various essays, many of which have previously only been available in their German or French originals, unite to form an authoritative statement of the quality and inter-relation of many contemporary art forms.

The book itself is in very good condition. There are slight signs of fading on the pages, shelf wear to the corners and slight creasing on the spine. However, this does not effect the binding as this is still tight with no loose pages. Overall, any wear is to be expected with a book of this age and the book would make an excellent edition to any art fan's collection.
