Published in 1950: "The steadily increasing popularity of the silk screen process has made it necessary for us to bring out a new and completely revised edition of a work that has been popular since 1936 when Mr. Hiett published his first book in America. This new edition is based only partly on this, partly on the original author's more recent work, but includes several new chapters and notes by the British editor, Mr. Middleton."
