Gilt top edge. Internally in very good condition. Pages are very lightly tanned along top edge, all very clean and bright. Tear on spine - see photo. Some foxing on front free endpaper and half-title page, no foxing on remaining pages. Some pages are rough-cut at the front edge. The spine has narrow piece missing at top edge, and the bottom spine edge has a tear (see photo). Outer corner edges are bumped. A really good tight book. xi, 722, including Additions to Third Volume, Glossary and Index. With illustrations and n diagrams/plans throughout the book.
