This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has some edge wear including a 1.5 cm tear at the base of the front cover and fading on the spine, but is otherwise in very good condition. There is slight marking on the page edges, but internally the pages are in very good condition - clean, tight and unmarked.

This book is a comprehensive account of the British official war art schemes from their beginnings in 1916 to the Falklands war. Artists referenced include Paul Nash, Henry Moore, Graham Sutherland, Jacob Epstein, Wyndham Lewis, L.S. Lowry, Mervyn Peake, and Stanley Spencer.

The Beeston books and music shop is situated near to Nottingham University, close to the city of Nottingham. There is a train station nearby. We offer a wider selection of books than most shops, from modern fiction and leisure interest to more specialist subjects, academic books, and rare or collectable items. There is a wide variety of music, including sheet music and a good selection of high quality classical, rock and pop vinyl. The volunteer team is a diverse mix from the local community, and University. We are currently recruiting for a quality control volunteer. We always welcome good quality, saleable donations which can be delivered to our rear entrance.
