Thinking photography

£19.99

Product description

Thinking Photography, like other books in the series, brings debates within the theory and practise of communications and culture, in this case in photography and photography criticism, to a wider audience. Victor Burgin's book is concerned with the production of meaning in photographs (and so it is fully illustrated).

A Photograph has traditionally been understood as an expression of the photographer's personality, a transparent presentation of a real scene, or more recently in 'modernist' criticism as a purely formal object.

This paperback book is in good condition throughout, the front and back cover are also in good condition showing only minor signs of wear. There are minor signs of foxing and wear at the top of the book. There is also slight discolouring on the some of the pages within the book.
