Elephant Bill

£19.99

Product description

Elephant Bill by J.H. Williams has a brown and white striped dust jacket, which is shelf worn at the top and bottom, with a 3cm tear on the bottom front, 1cm on the bottom of the spine and 2.5cm at the top of the spine. The boards are bound in red cloth, with the title embossed in gold, and the spine is bound in cream with the title and author in gold in a red panel. Bumping on the boards and slight creases on the head/tail caps are evident but reveal no tears. The publisher initials are embossed in gold at the bottom of the spine. The endpapers/hinges are strong and the binding is tight. The pages are clean with a little foxing on the edges. There are no dog-ears, marks or inscriptions in the book. Unfortunately the jacket is price clipped.

This edition has twenty B&W photographs, two dramatic drawings by John Bruce from sketches by the author, and two B&W line maps by K.C. Jordan.
