Me : A Chronicle About Other People

£9.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Undated, published by Hutchinson's, No 21 in their 'Pocket' Library series. 38th thousand.

An usual autobiography with the subtitle 'A Chronicle About Other People', this is one of several autobiographies Naomi Jacob wrote with the general title of 'Me' about her life.

Naomi Eleanor Clare Jacob (1884 – 1964) was an English author, actress and broadcaster.

Although this one is about other people, it is also about the author herself and the people she has met. Written in a light-hearted and amusing style, it makes a very good read. Having started her career as an actress she knew many theatrical people but her ill health forced her to live overseas for many years. '.

This is part of the Hutchinson's 'Pocket ' library non-fiction series.

There are some pencil notes in the back of the book.

Clearly a well read favourite there is some wear, especially on the covers. However the internal pages are generally in a good clean condition and the binding is sound. Heavily yellowed pages.
