The Linleys of Bath

£14.99

Product description

The Linleys of Bath by Clementina Black with an introduction by the Countess of Rosse and a Pedigree of the Linley family by Sir Anthony Wagner. The Linleys were a family distinguished by extreme good looks, more than average intellect and great talent. Thomas Linley (1732-1795), was a notable musical composer who became director of the Drury Lane oratorios. This biography will be of great interest to social historians as well as to those concerned with the theatre of the time.

The book itself is in good condition, the binding is sound and the pages are all clear and unstained, except for page 159/160 which has a very slight tear at the bottom. The top and bottom of the book cover at the spine is showing slight signs of wear and the dustjacket is slightly faded.
