£150.00

Product description

Reproducing 76 letters, as well as other important documents, 'The Lost Orwell' sheds light on the correspondence between Orwell and his first wife, Eileen, as well as revealing the mysterious list of crypto-communists and fellow travellers which Orwell sent to Celia Kirwan at the Information Research Department in 1949.

Book is in very good condition with a few bumps to corners and a very small tear to dust jacket (see pictures). This is a first edition and is inscribed by the editor, Peter Davison.
