Capitalists Without Capital

£46.99

Product description

Archie Nkoyeni, one of South Africa's most prominent buinessmen, has long been a leading figure in the struggle for black economic empowerment.
This collection of his speeches spans the transition of the country from its racially divided apartheid past to a non-racial democracy.
In them, Dr Nkoyeni raises many of the issues confronting black South Africans as they move into an economy from which they had been systematically excluded - issues such as affirmative action, capital for small black business development, land tenure and property rights, and access to equity ownership.
His speeches not only reflect the social, economic and political changes through the eyes of an unusually intuitive and sensitive observer, but lay down the foundations for debates which are still relevant today.

Cover has minor edge damage and denting. Text block edges are lightly soiled. A dedication appears on the inside of the front cover, however the rest of the pages are clean and unmarked with a tight binding.
