Green cloth covered book with gilt titles on the front cover and on the spine. The spine is sunned and there is a little discolouration to the front and back covers close to the spine. The tops of the page edges are darkened. There are some slight marks to the page edges to the side. Internally the book is clean, bright and tightly bound. Published in 1957 by Butterworth. The title page states "The Laws of England Being A Complete Statement of the Whole Law of England by the late the right honourable the Earl of Halsbury Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain 1885-86,1886-92 and 1895-1905 and other lawyers. Third Edition. Under the General Editorship of The Right Honourable the Viscount Simonds Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain 1951-54". Volume 19 includes: Highways, Streets and Bridges, Hire Purchase, Housing, Husband and Wife.
