Visual Merchandising: Window And In-Store Displays For Retail

£9.99

Product description

A great introduction for retail students, this book offers a user-friendly reference guide to all aspects of visual merchandising. Covering both window dressing and in-store areas, and including a range of stores from fashion emporia to small outlets, the book contains a wealth of practical advice, as well as case studies and hints and tips from established visual merchandisers. It reveals the secrets of their toolkit, such as the use of mannequins, the latest technology and how to construct and source props, and explains the psychology behind shopping and buyer behaviour. Presented through colour photographs, diagrams of floor layouts and store case studies, and including comprehensive information such as a glossary of terms used in the industry, Visual Merchandising is an invaluable handbook for anyone working in and learning about this exciting subject.

This 2008 paperback first edition is in a good, used condition. The front cover shows some signs of wear in that the edges are rubbed and the lower corner is creased. There are a few faint scratches front and back and the corners are bumped. The yellow front endpaper has a long vertical crease but otherwise the page block is clean and bright.

Oxfam Bookshop Hexham

We relocated in January 2016 to larger premises and are now able to offer a wider range of books and music (you can come and check out your musical choices in our listening booth and also find out a lot more about Oxfam's work.). We have a new local interest section, more space for history and have extended our craft and arts offer.  We also sell cards, fair trade food and ethical cleaning and beauty products.

Hexham is a market town situated in the beautiful Tyne Valley - the ideal stopping off point before exploring Hadrian's Wall, Chesters, Housesteads and the Temple of Mithras at Carrawburgh.
