Cover, in blue boards with gilt titling to nspine, is in fair to good condition with a little fading to top and bottom of spine and a little edge bumping to bottom of boards. Book internally is good with firm binding and no tears, inscriptions or marks. Some light foxing to endpapers and to some pages, but pages and illustrations are still generally clean and clear. Unclipped dustjacket is in only fair condition with some foxing, general shelfwear, a large tear to back (although torn section is still present and attached), creasing and a tear at bottom of frontand some creasing/rubbing to top edge. An exciting boys adventure story with delightful colour illustrations plus a map (with key) and very evocative B&w illustrations at the head of each chapter.
