The Teacher's Manual of School Music - Book III (c.1900)

£9.99

Product description

A fascinating book that looks to be from the early 1900s, published by Schofield and Simms.

It lays out detailed lesson plans for a year, for the teaching of music in schools. This being the third book in the series by the same author, part of the publisher's 'S&S Series' of teachers' books. A detailed lesson plan is included for each week of the school year and includes breathing exercises as well as singing.

There are stamps in the front and back end pages reading; 'Willenhall School Board, Little London Mixed'.

For anyone teaching music this will be a fascinating slice of history which may also provide a number of ideas.

Clearly a well read favourite there is some light rubbing wear on the covers, particularly the corners. However the internal pages are in a good clean condition, although lightly yellowed, and the binding is sound.
