Marvel Collection: The Avengers, Fantastic Four, House of M Sketchbook and Longshot

£4.99

Product description

4 x Comic Books

Longshot 1998- Longshot is an artificially created humanoid life-form, with the ability to defy probability. He is from an alternate dimension known as "Mojoworld" or the "Mojoverse". He is one of many slaves created by genetic engineers in the employ of Mojoworld's masters, virtually immobile Spineless Ones, who are ruled by the media-obsessed delusional maniac named Mojo. The head geneticist, Arize, gave Longshot and his other creations (such as the ram-headed Quark) free will and a conscience, hoping that one day they would rise up against their masters.

House Of M SketchBook 2005- "House of M" is a 2005 comic book story line published by Marvel Comics. The story line consists of a core eight-issue comic book limited series written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Olivier Coipel, and a number of crossover tie-in books. Its first issue debuted in June 2005 as a follow-up to the events of the "Planet X" and "Avengers Disassembled" story lines, in which the mutant superhero Scarlet Witch suffered a mental breakdown and tried to alter the fabric of reality to recreate her lost children. Scarlet Witch's father, Magneto, and her twin brother, Quicksilver, played major roles in the series. Like the 1995–1996 "Age of Apocalypse" story line.

Fantastic Four Adventures 2005-Fantastic Four Adventures is part of Marvel UK's 'Collector's Edition' line. It is being published by Panini Comics but reprints Marvel Comics from the United States.[1] It began in 2005 around the release of the Fantastic Four film and follows the format established by the Collector's Edition Range.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes The Avengers 2005- The Avengers must confront their greatest foe yet: Ultron, the sentient robot created by Avenger Hank Pym, who has seized control of the world's media and destroyed the Eastern European country of Slorenia.

CONDITION: All comics in fair/good condition with some wear to edges etc. Please see photos.

Oxfam Bookshop Shaftesbury

Our Oxfam bookshop in Shaftesbury is situated at the top of one of Britain's loveliest hills. Gold Hill affords a magical view across the Blackmore Vale and the bookshop lies between it and the old Abbey grounds which date back to 888AD. We can't claim to have manuscripts of that antiquity but we do have an extensive selection of beautiful books from our large children's section through fiction, biography, poetry, classic literature and humour to a fine collection of works on art, sport, cooking and gardening. In addition to this comprehensive and exciting array of books we also carry a large and varied stock of vinyl albums and singles both old and new and a fine stock of classical and popular CDs and DVDs. Our lovely selection of cards for all occasions is also very popular. Staffed predominantly by volunteers we're a friendly and helpful bunch and look forward to seeing even more interested music and book fans soon!
