Marvel - The Avengers No. 226, No. 227 and No. 228 Bundle - 1982 & 1983

£15.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

A fantastic bundle of Avengers comics from the early '80s. All in very good condition, with just some minor wearing at the edges of the pages and discoloration over time. This bundle includes the first of the Avenger comics written by Roger Stern.

Issue 226: Will the Avengers remain trapped in the past? Will Avalon fall under the might of Balor? All will be revealed, including the fate of Black Knight, in this inter-dimensional issue!

Issue 227: Blasting out from the pages of Amazing Spider-Man Annual No. 16 comes Monica Rambeau, the new Captain Marvel! And this is one lady who's going to make a big impact on the Avengers.  Plus, The Wasp continues to put up a brave front, determined to survive the turmoil of her divorce and to succeed as team chairwoman. And you'll witness an important turning point in the life of Dr. Henry Pym. We even managed to squeeze in a couple of Fantastic guest-stars!  Roger Stern's trailblazing run as writer of the Avengers begins with "Testing... 1 ... 2 ... 3!"

Issue 228: The sensational new Captain Marvel begins her training under the guidance of Captain America.  And Dr. Henry Pym gets his turn on the witness stand.  But will the veteran Avenger be able to clear his name ... or will this turn out to be a case of "Trial and Error!"?  And what part will the Masters of Evil play?

Oxfam Shop Cardiff

Our shop is situated in the Heath area of Cardiff, we work out of the Retail premises on Whitchurch Road, where Oxfam has been for over 35 years. Our role online, as with all Oxfam shops is to raise money in order to overcome poverty and suffering around the world including here in Wales. We could not achieve that without precious volunteer support which we are extremely grateful for. We need more of this valuable support and ask,if you live in or around Cardiff, to get in touch on: oxfamshopf5302@oxfam.org.uk. If you are able to spare a morning or afternoon each week with us, that would be fantastic, we offer the opportunity to expand your skills in many areas, work for one of the biggest charitable organisations in the world and importantly, you would be directly helping the poor and needy around the globe.
