"Me li'l swee'pea" - Popeye

£19.99

Product description

This final volume starts off in grand style with 'Mystery Melody', featuring the terrifying return of the shapeshifting Sea Hag. Olive Oyl, Wimpy, Poopdeck Pappy, the Jeep, the newly domesticated Goon and Toar all appear in this four-month epic - as does Bolo, the last in Segar's cast of massive Popeye opponents. Supplementary features include two historical articles by Popeye expert Rick Marschall, an illustrated Segar-written biography of Popeye originally serialised in newspapers at the time - and more rare art and exclusive photos. Unfortunately this book has damage to the head of the spine (an open, ragged tear). The fore-corners are heavily rubbed, with light stains to the upper page corners, and there is a knock/small tear to the rear cover fore-edge. Apart from these flaws, the rest of the book is in very good condition: so graded fair overall.
