This book brings together a fascinating compilation of the picture strip and feature material from the golden age of the famous Eagle Annual. The national strip cartoon weekly was launched on 14 April 1950 and for a decade was essential reading for every boy (and girl) in Britain.

Third impression, published by Webb & Bower in 1990, a third impression. An ex-school library copy, containing a bookplate and a date stamp (please see photos).

In good condition, although the dust jacket shows signs of shelf wear and is incomplete, with a section missing at the base of the front cover.

A bright, clean and colourful copy, featuring old favourites including Dan Dare, famed pilot of the future, and Harris Tweed, extra special agent.
