This 1958 rare first edition book is a delightful romance story set around two sisters, their dream cottage in Blackberry Lane and two of the young men of the village. The two girls' love stories unfolds concurrently with the story of the cottage itself. This is a truly delightful novel with most attractive characters.

The book is in good condition. The last two pages are fixed with sellotape, but otherwise binding is firm the pages are clear with some mild spotting. The boards and spine are firm and strong. The original dust cover is whole but worn at the edges and creased in places. It is an ex library copy with the usual markings and readers notations on the front and back leaves. This will be a delightful read for anyone interested in 1950s and 60s romantic fiction from an established author in the genre.
