Product description

Deus Vult LE CROCIATE (Italian edition)
by Frank Abbond

published by You Can Print

Paperback with glossy card cover and matte inside pages.
Item in very good condition with only very minor signs of wear. Slight indentations on cover, visible only under close inspection.

(Translation) "Glorious errant knights, armed with swords, shields and shining armor, with the leader and the standard bearer as their leader, with a horde of beggars made up of men, women, old men and children. That cry "Deus Vult!" God wants it, it turned into a tragedy of gigantic proportions. Already from the first crusade, over two hundred thousand men lost their lives. The crusades continued to follow one after the other in an infernal carousel, traveling in laborious pilgrimages, thousands of kilometers walking day and night to reach Constantinople, pass the Bosphorus and then continue reaching Jerusalem, until the last knights were buried in the ruins of San Giovanni D'Acri."
