Flowers in the attic

£200.00

Product description

Rare first UK edition (Piatkus) of Virginia Andrews first chilling novel. Assumed first printing (no number string). The four children had such perfect lives until their father died and they moved into their grandmother's attic. Days stretched into years of fearful captivity, but their own abiding love was a solid strength, until death came to part them.
Book red cloth with gilt lettering on spine, no inscriptions, price indentation on free end-paper and white shows at one small area on rear cover. (Perhaps publishing fault as there is no similar mark on jacket?). Jacket with picture of girl's head wreathed in flowers, slight dust marks on top of folds, otherwise very good plus. A very good copy of V C Andrews first book.
